Don't Miss Compost Giveback Day!
We hope we'll see you at our inaugural Compost Giveback Day this Saturday, April 25th from 9:00 am–3:00 pm. Visit our compost pad at 72 Jefferson Road in Washington, Maine and use your own vehicle to collect your compost allotment and any additional compost or bark mulch (for purchase). We'll also happily show you around the facility and chit chat - it's looking like a beautiful day ☀️

Earth Day at the Arboretum
Wednesday, April 22nd starting at 10am, we'll be out in Augusta at the Viles Arboretum for their Earth Day celebration. Swing by if you're in the area for children's activities, educational opportunities, and to get a good dose of spring!

Composter Shout-Out: Alfond Youth & Community Center
The Alfond Youth & Community Center (AYCC) in Waterville operates the nation’s only merged Boys and Girls Clubs and YMCA, serving nearly 11,000 members from throughout the 50 communities of the Greater Waterville area. And – you guessed it – they compost!
Many of the food scraps from AYCC's after-school program's kitchen comes to our piles, then re-enters their on-site educational garden and super cool Mary Nash Beaupre Greenhouse (shown here) as finished compost.
