ScrapDogs is expanding its service area to the Gardiner area! Residents and businesses of Gardiner, Farmingdale, and Randolph will have access to curbside food waste collection by ScrapDogs starting on April 22, 2025.

Curious community members are invited to join ScrapDogs for a free community launch event at Stone Broke Bread & Books in Gardiner on Sunday, May 4th from 2–4 p.m. to learn more about us and how it all works, enjoy some free goodies, and sign up for pickup services. Ready to sign up already? Visit the homepage and click Sign Up Today! to get started.

We’re thrilled to have encountered such a hunger for curbside composting in the Kennebec Valley region so far, and we look forward to broadening the impact we can have in the area! There’s great enthusiasm across the state for food waste reduction efforts, and if the requests we’ve received from folks there are any indication, Gardiner is an important piece of that momentum.
