We just have so much to talk about this time of year, we couldn't wait for May to send out another newsletter!

Gardiner, Here We Come!
We're excited to announce that we're expanding to the Gardiner area! Starting today, residents and businesses of Gardiner, Farmingdale, and Randolph can sign up for curbside food waste collection by ScrapDogs.
Curious community members are invited to join ScrapDogs for a free community launch event at the amazing Stone Broke Bread & Books in Gardiner on Sunday, May 4th from 2–4 p.m. to learn more about us and how it all works, enjoy some free goodies, and sign up.

Join us at Harbor Park in Rockland on Saturday! 🌎
Celebrate Earth Day with us at the 2025 Rockland Harborside Cleanup! Help collect litter around our community’s waterfront for a cleaner Rockland Harbor and waterfront. You’ll be provided with all the tools you need, including coffee and a snack served in the morning and a community cookout for all volunteers at noon.

...and again on Thursdays, for the Rockland Farmers Market!
Starting on May 1st, we'll be out at Harbor Park for the Rockland Farmers Market, happening every Thursday from 9:00–1:00. Get your compost questions answered and, of course, shop for outstanding fresh produce, eggs, meat, flowers, pizza, mushrooms, and more!
Composter Shout-Out: Belfast!

Belfast has been in the news quite a bit for their community-led effort to provide composting options to residents at the Transfer Station.
Learn all about our project with them!
