ScrapDogs Plant Food provides the benefits of compost (healthier, faster-growing plants, water and nutrient retention, and increased organic matter) supplemented by worm castings for more vibrant plants.
Our Process: The compost in our Plant Food is made with food scraps from Maine homes, schools, and businesses, as well as lobster and oyster shells, animal manures, and hardwood bark – transforming undervalued resources into gold for your soils. This finished compost is screened to 1/8" particle size and mixed 9:1 with pure worm castings from our vermicompost operation to bring your plants the finest food out there.
How to Use: Sprinkle Plant Food into the soil in your houseplant pots, mix it into potting soil or seed-starting mix, or brew it as a tea and apply it to your plants and soil to give them a much-needed boost of nutrients, healthy microbes, and organic matter.
